All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 5, 2006, 7:07 pm Written: October 21, 1786 Date: October 21, 1786 Deed of Exchange - Etienne Comau and Pierre Comau, his brother Etienne Comau who has declared to me in the presence of the witness to have exchanged with Pierre Comau, his brother, a half of the plantation situated on the left bank of the Mississippi river on descending, adjacent above to the plantation of Theodore Duga and below to that of Baptiste Leblanc, the said plantation containing six arpents front on the ordinary depth of forty, the buildings, enclosures and the above said plantation belonging to them for having been purchased from Mr. Maturin Benoi, in partnership, about six years ago, the said Mr. Etienne Comau exchanges then his part of the above said plantation, as it is said, for six arpents of land which belong to the said Mr. Pierre Comau situated on the same Etienne Comau and below to the plantation of Mr. Simon Ricard which belongs to him for having been purchased of Mr. Olivie Benoy about nine years ago, said Mr. Pierre Comau giving in exchange to Etienne Comau his brother, the above said land.
