All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 15, 2006, 8:21 pm Written: February 15, 1792 Date: February 15, 1792 Sale - Mortgage Jean Pierre Culler to Atanase Landry A plantation situated on the right bank of the Mississippi river, one league below Plaquemine, adjacent above to the lands of Joseph Marie Landry and below to those of Blaise Rivet, containing five arpents and some toises of front, on the ordinary depth of forty arpents, which came to the vendor for having acquired same at the price of the estimation of the property of the late Etienne Babin on the date of the third of November one thousand seven hundred ninety; For the payment of consideration he mortgages the plantation which has just been sold him; and also a plantation situated on the right bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent above to the lands of Xavier Robichaut and below to those of Thomas Ebert, containing six arpents of front on the ordinary depth of forty arpents, which belong to him for having been conceded by the Government.
