Father Felix Quintanar, Capuchin, which request for lands belonged to the decd. Georje Cuper. Georje Cuper in the best form that may be found, before you appears and says that there being found vacand land on the Bayou Iberville at two leagues from the Town of Galvestown, the side opposite those which possesses Dn Josef Pauli and managing establishment in the said place, supplicating that I am conceded ten arpents of land of front with the ordinary depth in the said place. I supplicate you to concede me as in carrying out an order for perpetual claim on property, ** of malice and the necessary **. George Cuper Galvestown 2nd of January of 1790 The lands which are claimed measured are vacant in the same place which is cited and if the Governor appears, he might concede to him his claim.
