Sale - Theodor Duga to Simon Landry 

Four arpents of land of front with the ordinary depth of forty, belonging to 
me, situated in the said District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, 
bounded above by lands of the Commandant, Dn Franco Rivas and below by those 
of my ownership, of the plantation which was possessed and purchased of 
Santiago Landry by deed executed before Dn Luis Dustisne, the seventh of April 
of one thousand seven hundred seventy-nine, having to run, the lines of depth 
of the said four arpents of land according to and in conformity with the 
figurative  plan of the said plantation which I keep in my possession, with 
the express condition of reserving during my lifetime and that of my wife or 
the time in which we reside on the above said plantation, the edifices which 
actually are found constructed, or in the death of both, or that we should go 
out of the express plantation, they should belong to the said Simon Landry; 
selling also the property, like this, the two-thirds of said ownership of 
cypress trees and oak trees which exist on an arpent and seven toises and 
three feet of front on the ordinary depth of forty situated in the above said 
District on the same bank of the river, between the possessions above of 
Ypolito Landry and below to Joseph Leblanc called Adu, with the same rights 
and privileges.
