Sale - Simon Joseph Dupuis to Santiago Asselaire 

Tract belonging to me situated in the said District on the left bank on 
descending of the said Mississippi river, composed of five arpents of front 
and forty of depth, bounded on the upper part by lands of Josef Brasseux and 
below by those of Juan Bautista Dupuis, which was possessed from the paternal 
inheritance received by my deceased wife, Maria Ludivine Landry.

(The word after left bank looks like Baxande, seems like descending; an 
explanation is made where there is any doubt as to the meaning of an 
understanding of, a word)
