All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net February 19, 2007, 7:53 pm Written: March 7, 1806 Date: March 7, 1806 Acquittance - Jean Baptiste Dupuis, as tutor of the minors of the decd. brother-in-law, Jean Ebert, and of his decd. sister, Marie Magdelaine Dupuis, and charged with the recovery of the amount of the sale of their property, has received of Simon and Paul Babin, as being in the rights of Laurent Dupre, certain sum for the adjudication which had been made to this latter, of: A plantation belonging to the said decd. situated in this County on the left bank of the Mississippi river, between the properties above by the said Jean Bte Babin and below by those of Simon Allin, composed of five arpents and twenty-three toises of front on the said river and forty of depth, as and like it is at greater length, in the sale and adjudication of the property left by the above said decd. on date of the tenth and eighteenth of October 1803, which is deposited in the archives of this County; which plantation, the same Laurent Dupre had sold them some days after, by an act also deposited in these archives on date of the eighteenth of November of the same year; Giving to Simon and Paul Babin, acquittance.
