Receipt - Donato Ebert to Carlos Samson

Received sum from Carlos Samson for the quantity which Roberto Brasil owed me 
for the price of a plantation situated in the said District on the left bank 
of the Mississippi river, composed of four arpents and twenty-seven toises of 
front with the ordinary depth of forty, bounded on the upper part by lands of 
Pedro Hebert and below by those of Narciso Hebert, which I sold to the said 
Roberto Brasil by deed executed before me on the twelfth day of December of 
the year passed of one thousand seven hundred ninety-eight; which quantity was 
owed by the said Carlos Samson to the named Roberto Brasil for the price of 
the same plantation which the above said Brasil had sold to Samson by deed of 
March 1, 1800
