Hath owes to Paul and Dominique Ebert - brothers and major children of the decd. Jean Ebert, certain sum which they had loaned him; and for security of which, he mortgages: A tract of his ownership situated in this County on the left bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the plantation of Victor Blanchard and below by that of Hypolite Landry, composed of fifty-five feet of land of front on three hundred feet of depth, the buildings and fences which are found built on the said tract, in a word, such as it comprises and contains actually, with the improvements which he might make thereon, which tract belongs to him for having been purchased of Hypolite Landry by act passed before me, the fourteenth of August passed, deposited in the archives of this County.
