Receipt - Free negro, Pablo to Gregorio Melanson

Received sum which he owed for a tract belonging to him which was sold to him, 
situated in the proper District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, 
but above Bayou Plaquemine, composed of three arpents of front with the 
ordinary depth of forty, bounded on the upper part by lands of the said 
Gregorio Melanson and below by those of Dn Bernardo D'Auterive, with its 
dependencies, according to the deed of sale which rests in this archives of my 
office dated the sixth day of the month of February of the year passed of one 
thousand seven hundred ninety-nine.
