All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 21, 2006, 2:05 pm Written: April 29, 1794 Date: April 29, 1794 Sale - Michel Gareuille to Tranquil Joseph Olivier A tract of two arpents ten toises and four feet taking on the front, on the depth of eighty arpents, with the fan shape which might appear in proportion to the front, reserving proper and as to him belonging, the buildings, enclosures which are found thereon; as well as the cypress trees and the oaks which might be found thereon up to the depth of forty arpents which belong to Mr. Joseph Barqr Vahamonde; which two arpents ten toises and 4 feet of front are sold taking on the land which belongs to him, situated in this District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent to that of the Church and below to Mr. Joseph LeBlanc, called Adoux, and above by this said land, on descending, up to the concurrence of the said two arpents, ten toises and four feet; which he possesses for having been acquired of the same Mr. Joseph LeBlanc by act passed and deposited in the archives of this Commandant on the date of this day.
