Sale - Juan Gerat to Joseph Docite Babin

A plantation with all its dependencies belonging to me, with exception of 
fifty cords of wool, which I reserve for delivery when convenient, as exactly 
to persist on said plantation, on the same terms, that with my family I am 
residing on same, without inconveniencing me in any manner, until the end of 
the present year; situated in said District on the left bank of the 
Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of Simon Richard and 
below by those of the purchaser, composed of three arpents and fifteen toises 
of front with the ordinary depth of forty, the same which was possessed and 
purchased of Ana Landry, Widow of the decd. Joseph Ebert, of Antonio 
Blanchard, and of the purchaser, by deed executed before the present 
Commandant, Dn Franco Rivas, on the twentieth of August of 1801.
