Anselme Blanchard: The same plantation which her said decd. husband, Antoine Blanchard had sold and exchanged with his father, the same Anselme Blanchard, which is situated in this County on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the properties of Honore Braud and below by those of which the said Mr. Anselme Blanchard possessed at the time, composed of eight arpents of land of front with the ordinary depth of forty, the buildings, enclosures and other things which might depend on the same plantation, in a word, such as it comprises and contains, the same belongs to the above said decd. Antoine Blanchard, her husband, for having been in possession of the same in this manner: five arpents of land of front on forty of depth which he had purchased of Olivier Leblanc by act passed before Nicolas DeVerbois, then Commandant of the District of Iberville, the fourteenth day of the month of August one thousand seven hundred eighty-nine, which is deposited in the archives of this County; and the three aprents of land of front more, with forty of depth, for having had them by donation, verbally, which was made him by his father, the above said Mr. Anselme Blanchard. The above said plantation had been sold and satisfied by another tract which the decd. Anselme Blanchard had given to his son in exchange of the one above; composed of six arpents of front and forty of depth, which her husband had disposed of during his life.
