Pierre Hebert to Simon Landry 

A plantation of his ownership, situated in this said District on the left bank 
of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the property of Pierre Rivet, Jr. 
and below by Paul Ebert, composed of four arpents and twenty-seven toises of 
front on the river on forty of depth, selling him the same as it is comprised 
and in the state in which it is found, which belongs to him for having been 
purchased of Pierre Landry, inhabitant of the Interior of Bayou Lafourche, as 
it is so confirmed by the private act by private signature which he presented 
and with sincerity to the present act; which said Pierre Landry had it 
himself, the ownership, for having been purchased of his (step-father or 
father-in-law; word means the same) the decd. Francois Ebert, on the date of 
the fourteenth of the month of May one thousand seven hundred eighty-seven, 
according to the act which had been passed him the said day and deposited in 
the archives of this Commandant.

(Attached written in French, to above instrument is:)
I, Pierre Landry, Jr. confess that I have sold to Pierre Hebert, a tract of 
five arpents of front on the orindary depth, situated on the right bank of the 
river, adjacent above to the land of Mr. Etienne Hebert, and below to that of 
Mr. Charles Hebert, said parish of Iberville. Dated: Oct. 30, 1792
