Deed of Exchange - Diego Hernandes to  Pierre Brunteau

Diego Hernandes to Pierre Brunteau
His plantation situated below near Plaquemine, adjacent above to the land Mr. 
Pierre Voisin and below to that of Mr. Pierre LeBlanc on the right bank of the 
Mississippi river, containing about six arpents twenty-seven toises two feet 
on the said river with the ordinary depth of forty arpents and the lines 
parallel, having sold formerly the fan of the said land.
Pierre Brunteau to Diego Hernandes
His plantation situated on the same bank as the preceding at about five-
fourths of a league lower, between the lands of Messrs. Amant Ebert and 
Charles Ebert, containing about six arpents front on the said river and the 
ordinary depth of forty arpents.
Mr. Hernandes for having purchased the same of Mr. Maturin Landry about 
seventeen years ago by act passed before Mr. Dutisnet and Mr. Brunteau for 
having had his at the estimation which was made of the property of Mrs. Anne 
Dupuis, his wife about four years ago. It is also understood that the second 
concession of the land which Mr. Hernandes sells will belong inclusively in 
that purchase, to Mr. Brunteau.

Receipt of Diego Hernandes to Pierre Bruntaue for a sum due for the remaining 
sum of purchase of a plantation for which the sale was passed on the date of 
the twenty-ninth of the month of May of the past year,  * * for which he gives 
acquittance, to Pierre Bruntaue.
