Declaration of Sale - Luis Judice (Lieutenant) to Maria Luana Chauvin, wife of 
Boloni Landry

Declared that he sold the following about four years ago: (District of 
Iberville at Post of Lefourche) A plantation belonging to me situated in this 
same District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, composed of three 
arpents of front with forty of depth, bounded on the upper part by the 
plantation of Dn Miguel Judice, my son and below by the lands of Rafael 
Landry, the same coming from fifty arpents of land of front which was 
possessed at the place indicated, by concession of the Governor General of 
this Province dated the twentieth of November of one thousand seven hundred 
eight-six, and being sold with all its dependencies, free of mortgages and 
encumbrances, * * for the price of five hundred fifty dollars, on good account 
of which amount was in my hands as curator for the paternal and maternal 
inheritance due her at their death;

Receipt - Belonis Landry and his wife, Maria Juana Chauvin to Luis Judice, 
Lieutenant
Receipt of certain sum coming from the paternal and maternal inheritance of 
the said wife, Maria Juana Chauvin, as curator at the liquidation and auction 
sale of the property belonging to the deceased father and mother, Juan 
Bautista Chauvin, and Margarita Braud, which appears in the archives of the 
District of Lafourche de Chetimachas.
