Who declared that about six years ago, the said Jacob Kline had verbally sold to Michel Ebert a plantation of his ownership, with its dependencies situated at the same District of Iberville, on the left bank of the Mississippi river, bounded by the part above to the property of Joseph Henderson and below to those of Louis Parent, composed of five arpents and eighteen toises of front on the said river on the ordinary depth of forty arpents, opening at two degrees, as it appears by the figurative plan and title of concession accorded to Pierre Clouatre by the Government of S.M.C. on date of Jan. 3, 1776 which is for sincereity herein, in order to have recourse if needed, the said land belonging to the said decd. Jacob Kline for having been purchased of his brother, Jean Kline (one of the declarers) by act passed before Mr. Laurent Sigur formerly Commandant of this District, the second of October, 1797 deposited in the archives of this Commandant.
