All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 5, 2007, 5:58 pm Written: December 19, 1801 Date: December 19, 1801 Sale - Joseph Atanacio Landry to Ypolito Landry, my son A tract belonging to me situated in this District of Iberville, on the right bank of the Mississippi river, composed of four arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, bounded above by lands of Dn Lorenzo Sigur and below by those of Joseph Babin, the same which was possessed and purchased with eight arpents besides, of Carlos Babin and Pedro Moices Foret, by deed executed before Dn Nicolas DeVerbois, Commandant who was of this District on the twenty-third day of the month September, of the year of one thousand seven hundred ninety-three, with, besides, the second depth that its proportion might correspond to that of the said four arpents of front, of which he obtained of the Governor General according to the figurative plan and title of concession dated the third of April of the year of one thousand seven hundred ninety-four, and selling same, one and the other, expressly with all its dependencies.
