All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 5, 2007, 7:27 pm Written: July 11, 1801 Date: July 11, 1801 Sale - Ypolito Landry to Santiago Raymon A tract belonging to me situated in the proper District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of my ownership and below by those of Pablo Babin, composed of two arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, with its edifices, palisades and fences, and in the same condition in which it is found, with besides, the fourth part of the ownership of the cypress trees and oak trees which belong to me on the fourth part of front with the ordinary depth of forty, situated in the above said District on the same bank of the said River between the possessions above of Dn Joseph Darquer Bahamonde and below by Simon Landry and to take said fourth on the lower side bounded by the said Simon Landry; said land, cypress trees and oak trees belonging to me for having been purchased of my brother, Pedro Fernando Landry by deed executed before the actual Commandant on date of this day; and selling said two arpents, cypress trees and oak trees, expressed, free of encumbrances and mortgages.
