All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 5, 2007, 7:35 pm Written: July 11, 1801 Date: July 11, 1801 Sale - Pedro Fernando Landry to Ypolito Landry, my brother A plantation belonging to me situated in the proper District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of his ownership and below by those of Pablo Babin, composed of four arpents more or less of front with the ordinary depth of forty, with its edifices, palisades and fences, and in the same condition in which it is found, which was possessed and purchased of Olivero Brasset, my brother-in-law, by deed executed before the actual Commandant on the fifteenth day of the month of August of the year passed of one thousand eight hundred; with besides, the ownership of the cypress trees and oak trees which correspond to this plantation, of one arpent of front on the ordinary depth of forty, situated in the above said District on the same bank of the said river, between the possessions above by Dn Joseph Barquer Vahamonde and below by Simon Landry, sold inclusive with this above said plantation; and which is possessed by my said brother, Ypolito Landry, according to the mentioned deed; and I sell said plantation, cypress and oak trees expressed, free of encumbrances and mortgages.
