All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 5, 2007, 7:56 pm Written: June 27, 1801 Date: June 27, 1801 Sale - Joseph Atanacio Landry to Donato Landry, my son A tract belonging to me situated in the proper District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, composed of four arpents of front with the depth of forty, bounded on the upper part by lands of Pablo Babin, son of Joseph Babin and below by those of Pedro Moises Forret, according to the deed of sale executed before Dn Nicolas DeVerbois, Commandant who was of this District, on the twenty-third day of the month of September of the year passed of one thousand seven hundred ninety-three, besides that which might correspond to the front and to the depth, in proportion to that which might belong to the said four arpents in the second depth which he obtained of the Governor General of this Province on the third day of the month of April of one thousand seven hundred ninety-four, according to the figurative plan and title of concession which is at present remaining in my hands; and selling it, said lands with the edifices, fences and divers works which are encountered on the same, free of encumbrances.
