Quittance - Simon Landry, has received of Thimoleon LeSassier, sum for the 
amount of a platation with its dependencies which he had sold him, situated in 
this District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, composed of four 
arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, bounded by the above part, 
to the properties of Mister Francois Rivas, former Commandant of this 
Jurisdiction, and below to those of Francois Poujol; as well as for the 
cypresses and oaks, which might contain an arpent, seven toises and three feet 
of front on the depth of forty situated at the said District on the same bank 
of the river between the possessions above of Hypolite Landry and below by 
Joseph Leblanc called Adoux, as it is explained at length, in the act of sale 
of said first day of March 1803.
