All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 21, 2006, 1:57 pm Written: April 28, 1794 Date: April 28, 1794 Sale - Joseph LeBlance called Adoux to Michel Gareuille A tract of 4 arpents, 21 toises and two feet on the ordinary depth of forty with the fan shape, correspondent to the front, such as it might comprise and contain at present, up to the concurrence of the said four arpents, twenty-one toises and two feet; which is situated in this District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent above to the lands of the Church and below to that of Etienne Comau, containing about eleven arpents; which land that he comes to sell, belongs to him for having been acquired of the deceased Louis LeCompte by private signature, about six years ago; with the reserve of cypress trees and of oaks which might be found on the same land up to the said depth only, which have been sold to Mr. Bamonde, Theodor Duga and Hipolite Landry.
