Sale - Santiago Leblanc to Margarita Braud, widow of Pablo Hebert

A plantation belonging to me situated in the proper District on the right bank 
of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of Juan 
Lambremont and below by those of Juan Leblanc, composed of four arpents and 
twenty-nine toises of front with the ordinary depth of forty, the boundaries 
opening at five and a half degrees, as is shown by the figurative plan and 
title of concession dated the twentieth day of the month July of the year 
passed of one thousand seven hundred ninety-six, which is delivered this 
instant to the purchaser, on the condition of reserving the principal house 
which is found built on it, and with the authority to deliver it when it is 
found to be convenient; said land is of my ownership for having been purchased 
of my father, Simon Leblanc and of my mother, Maria Trahan according to the 
deed of sale executed the first of August of the year passed of one thousand 
seven hundred ninety-two before Dn Nicolas DeVerbois, Commandant who was we 
understand of this above said District; and the receipt of which is presented 
and is inserted in this deed in order to confirm that it has been transferred 
and renounced in my favor, the right of ownership which is on the said 
plantation, to have and to hold, as also the part and edifices of the same 
which had been reserved in order that they might enjoy it during their lives; 
said receipt executed before Dn Rafael Croquer, Commandant of the District of 
Lafourche de Chetimachas, the 1st day of the current month.
