Sale - Jeanvier Longuepe to Emon Capdeville 

Sale of rights to the land and sale for works on levees, Royal road and fences 
which are on three arpents of land, more or less, of front on the ordinary 
depth of forty, situated in this said District on the right bank of the 
Mississippi river, bounded on the right by lands of the Widow of the deceased 
Jacobo Lanterne and below by those of the purchaser, which had been condeded 
to me in the year of one thousand seven hundred ninety-three by the Commandant 
who was we understand Dn Nicolas DeVerbois by virtue of the order which was 
passed by Senor Baron de Carondelet, who was we heard Governor General of this 
Province, for having been reunited to the Dominion of His Majesty, not having 
an owner for same except Manuel Canilla making the levee; for which he had no 
order or title of concession.
