All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 21, 2006, 4:15 pm Written: September 22, 1794 Date: September 22, 1794 Sale - Francois Marionneau to Antoine Maxent A plantation situated in this District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent above to the lands of Joseph Moran and belwo to those of Pierre Clouatre, containing five arpents two toises of front on the ordinary depth of forty, according to as it is confirmed by the title of concession and plan accorded in the name of Blaize Lejeune, former owner, on the date of the 11th of February 1772 and July 7, 1774, which have been at this instant, remitted to Mr. Maxent. The said plantation sold, with its buildings, enclosures, cabins in a word, such as it might comprise and contain at present, which belongs to him for having acquired it of Joseph Comau by act passed and deposited in the archives of this Commandant on the date of the 14th of May 1786; the said concession have just been remitted to the purchaser. Affidavit of J. Mollere, that he is Surety for purchaser.
