Receipt - Joseph Melanson to Deny Landry 

Price of works which he sold him on a tract of nine arpents of front situated 
in this same District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, at the 
Point, Front of the Church, bounded on the two sides by the lands of the 
Dominion of his Majesty, and on the same land, according to the deed executed 
on the twenty-ninth of July of the year of one thousand seven hundred ninety-
five before the Commandant who was we understand Dn Nicolas DeVerbois.
