Sale - Simon Melanson to Gregoire Melanson, his brother and neighbor

A half arpent of land of front or ninety feet of land of front on forty of 
depth, with parallel lines, I (Commdt.) say parallel lines, to take above of 
his plantation where he resides, situated in this District on the right bank 
of the river, adjacent above to the property of his said brother, Gregoire 
Melanson and below to that of Joseph Ebert, which belongs to him for having 
been purchased with four arpents moreover, of Mrs. Anne Babin, widow of Amant 
Melanson, his mother, as it is confirmed by the act of sale passed the third 
of June 1786, before Mr. Nicolas DeVervbois who was then Commandant of this 
District.
