All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net February 22, 2007, 2:00 pm Written: May 20, 1805 Date: May 20, 1805 Joseph Mollere to Joseph Landry, Comdt of District of Lafourche des Chestimachas A plantation of his ownership with its belongings and dependencies situated in this District of Iberville on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by the property of Joseph Orillion, and below by those of Widow Jean Dupuis, composed of five arpents and two toises of front on the ordinary depth of forty arpents, the buildings, enclosures, and other things which might be thereon, in a word, such as the said plantation might comprise and contain, according to the figurative plan and title of concession of the said land accorded to Blaise Lejeune, called Briar on date of the seventh of July one thousand seven hundred sixty-four, which he remits to the purchaser; which said plantation belongs to him for having been purchased about two years ago of Thomas Cropper according to the act passed before me this day and deposited in the archives of this Commandant.
