All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 10, 2007, 12:38 pm Written: June 18, 1802 Date: June 18, 1802 Sale - Appear: Champagne Unzaga, Chief of the Chetimachas Nation, with his brother, Juan Luis Unzaga, Antonio, Gautista, Subjects of great regard among them, and other Indains of the Village, established at Bayou Plaquemine, and through the medium of an Interpreter, Juan Franco Franchebois, consent and of common accord, of all the Indains of the Village, declare that they sell in fact, to Felix Braud, resident of the same District, A tract belonging to the, of one of the two villages which they possess in said place, situated in the above said District on the right bank of the Bayou called of the Fork of Plaquemine, composed of ten arpents of front, with the ordinary depth of forty, bounded on the upper part by the land which they have sold on this same day to Antonio Lanclo, and below by that of their ownership; and selling same free of encumbrances.
