All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 6, 2007, 2:51 pm Written: October 8, 1801 Date: October 8, 1801 Sale - Santiago Raymon to Guillermo Germin A tract belonging to me situated in the proper District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by the plantation of Ypolito Landry and below by that of Pablo Babin, composed of two arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, with the edifices, palisades and fences, and in the same condition in which it is found, with besides, the fourth part of the ownership of the cypress tress and oak trees which belong to me on an arpent of front with the depth of forty, situated in the above said District on the same bank of the said River between the possessions above of Dn Joseph Barquer Vahamonde and below by Simon Landry and to take said fourth on the lower side, bounded by the said Simon Landry; said land, cypress trees and oak trees belonging to me for having been purchased of Ypolito Landry by deed executed before the present Commandant on the date of the eleventh of June of the current year of one thousand eight hundred and one; and I sell said two arpents, cypress tress and oak trees, expressly, free of encumbrances and mortgages.
