Sale - Simon Richard to Santiago Augusto Richard, my son

A tract with its dependencies belonging to me, with exception of a new house, 
*** situated in said District on the left bank of the Mississippi river, 
composed of six arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, bounded on 
the upper part by lands of my ownership and below by those of my brother, 
Pablo Richard, which was possessed, four arpents of which were conceded to me 
by the Governor General dated the third of January of the year of one thousand 
seven hundred seventy-six; and the two arpents remaining of that which was 
possessed in exchange with my brother, Pablo Richard, according to the deed 
executed date the eighteenth of May of the year one thousand seven hundred 
seventy-six before the Commandant who was we understand, Dn Luis Dutisne; and 
selling same with the express condition that during my lifetime, I reserve, 
the use of the said land **
