All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 18, 2007, 3:20 pm Written: February 16, 1804 Date: February 16, 1804 Sale - Felipe and Godfroy Roth to Pedro Belly A tract with all its dependencies, belonging to us, situated in said District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by the lands of our ownership, and below by those of Dn Juan Serret, composed of three arpents and some toises or the half of the front with the depth and opening of the plantation, which was possessed and purchased a the public sale of the property of the succession of the decease, our father, Joseph Roth and our mother, Antonia Lamare; which we were adjudicated, as last resort, made one year and a half, following the proceedings performed in the matter before the present Commandant, Dn Franco Rivas, who remitted to us, according to evidence and manifestation, the figurative plan and title of concession of the same plantation dated the seventh of July of the year of one thousand seven hundred seventy-four which is inserted in this deed; and half of the whole of the expressed plantation, which we obligate ourselves to make the plan and to stake the boundaries or land-marks corresponding.
