All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 28, 2006, 11:26 am Written: January 23, 1800 Date: January 23, 1800 Sale - Pedro Voisin to Nicolas Rousseau A plantation belonging to me situated in this said District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, composed of five to five and a half arpents of front and eighty of depth, bounded on the upper part by lands of Bartolome Amelton and below by those of Ane Hebert, widow of Pedro Bruntau with all its dependencies, the same which was possessed and puchased like this: three arpents of front with the depth of forty of Cipriano Babin on the twenty- first of October of the year one thousand seven hundred eighty-six by deed executed before Dn Nicolas DeVerbois, Commandant who was we understand of the said District, and the remainder coming from the precipitation which adhered to the said land and from the opening which he purchased of Diego Arnandez, on the second of June of the year one thousand seven hundred eighty-seven by deed executed before the said Commandant Dn Nicloas DeVerbois and the forty remaining of depth making the completion of the eighty arpents montioned was had by concession of the Governor General as confirmed by the figurative plan and title of concession of all the expressed plantation which is delivered.
