Julia Breaux, 87, a native and resident of Bayou Goula, died Monday, July 14, 
2008, at Riverwest Medical Center, Plaquemine. Visiting at Pugh's Mortuary, 
Plaquemine, on Monday, July 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting at Pilgrim 
Baptist Church, Bayou Goula, on Tuesday, July 22, from 9 a.m. until religious 
service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Brisco Pierre, pastor. Interment in 
the church cemetery. Survived by seven daughters, Dianne Young, Mildred 
Edwards, Audrey Carter, Vinnie Washington, Shirley Breaux, Irene Stewart and 
Brenda Jackson; three sons, Jimmy and Joseph Breaux and Spencer Battiste; two 
brothers and other nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her 
parents, Louis and Mariah Dunbar; three sisters and two brothers.
