(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, March 31, 1917, page 3 Death of Mrs. Jean Lapeyrolerie, Sr. - More than sixty-one years of happy married life were terminated when Mrs. Jean Lapeyrolerie passed from this world into that mysterious bourne beyond the tomb last Saturday, the 24th inst. Deceased, whose maiden name was Nysilda Hebert, had attained the venerable age of 85 years, 1 month and 18 days, and was born, reared, married, lived and died near Carville, Iberville parish. She is survived by her aged husband, who is 86 years old, and one son, Jean Lapeyrolerie, Jr. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon, with services at St. Gabriel church, and was largely attended. Among the Ascensionites present were Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Saxon, Sam. J. Boote, Henry C. Braud, L.W. and James P. Armitage, Louis Rome and mother, Miss Lise Braud, Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Brou, Mr. and Mrs. Euclid Landry, Claybert Belle and Wilfred Yentzen.
