Mrs. V. L. Wintz, of White Castle, died at her home there at 8 o'clock Tuesday 
night, after a brief illness with pneumonia, and her remains were brought to 
Donaldsonville Wednesday and interred in the Catholic cemetery, the funeral 
taking place at 5 p. m. from the residence of M. D'Esposito, No. 920 St. 
Patrick street. Mrs. Wintz before her marriage was Miss Rena Landry, a 
daughter of Mrs. Simon Landry, formerly of this parish, and was 30 years of 
age. Her mother and husband survive her.
