The marriage of this young couple was the event of the week. At the church as the appointed hour for the ceremony approached a vast throng of friends and acquaintances congregated to witness it. The charming bride in her rich habilliments looked lovely indeed, and the manly groom wore a placid and pleasing smile which told plainly that he was proud of the priceless prize he had won in the lottery of life. The bride is the daughter of Mr. J. Dupleche of this town; she is a young lady of sweet and amiable disposition, gentle, deserving and kind, and is a universal favorite with all who know her. The groom is the junior partner in the house of Litz & Bourgeois, and is a youn man of much business fact and ability. He is energetic, sober, quiet and reliable, and is a favorite with everybody. Two perosns with such dispositions cannot be otherwise than happy and we sincerely trust that the uncertain future contains for them nothing but happiness of the purest nature.
