Bailey, near Quitman, in Jackson parish, celebrating the 90th birthday of his father, W.F. Bailey. Dinner was served in old-fashioned picnic style under the trees on the lawn. A birthday cake with 91 candles on it had its place in the center of the table.Those enjoying the day with this old Confederate veteran were his four children, E.L. Bailey and family of Quitman, G.W. Bailey and family of Beech Springs, W.J. Bailey of Arcadia and Mrs. Will McGuire and family of Simsboro; 12 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren were not able to attend.
