July 21, 1950 To the Voters of Ward Three I would appreciate your vote and active support in the July 25, 1950 Democratic primary Election as School Board member from Ward Three. I believe my qualifications will meet with your approval. I was reared in Quitman and graduated from High School and won my home there. I attended Centenary College and La. Tech over a period of three years. I feel there are improvements that can be made in the School System and I will strive to accomplish these. If I am elected to this capacity, I assure you I will serve you to the best of my ability for the betterment of the School System in our community but I will not promise to do the impossible. Be sure to go to the Polls and vote on July 25th. I want to thank you in advance for any consideration shown me and the best wishes, I am Cecil B. Waldrip.
