All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http:/www.usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ Ackel, Adell Miss August 26, 1950 Funeral services for Miss Adell Ackel, well-known local woman whose death occurred August 18, 1950 at McDonald’s clinic following a short illness, were held at the Catholic church in Natchitoches, on Sunday August 20 at four p.m. Interment was in the Natchitoches cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Miss Ackel, who was a native of Syria, had resided in Jonesboro for the past five or six years. Her death is deeply regretted by her many friends here. Survivors include one sister, Miss Gloria Ackel who resided with her sister here and four brothers, S1-c Bolus Ackel of Fort Dix, New Jersery, Emile Ackel of Natchitoches, Joseph Ackel of Alexandria; two newphews and one niece survive.
