She was 85. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., 11 a.m. Friday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Karen Edenfield and the Rev. Scott Edenfield. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Raleigh Cox and Fran and Tom Carville, all of Baton Rouge; a sister, Bobbie Whiteard, Sulphur; granddaughter and her husband, Kendra and David Pearson, Baton Rouge; three nieces and three nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis E. Austin; her parents and a brother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Denham Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to First United Methodist Church of Denham Springs.
