ETTA BARRON Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Murray Barron, 84 of Ringgold, were held at 4 p.m. Friday, August 25, in Antioch Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Paul Presson and Rev. Lowell Reichardt officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Barron died Wednesday following a long illness. She was a native of Jackson Parish. Survivors include her husband Otis Barron of Ringgold; four sons, Porter Murray, Waynesboro, Miss.; Glenda Murray, Texas City, Texas; Ester Murray, Okalahoma City, Okla.; Chris Murray, of Quitman;  three daughters, Mrs. Mae Johnson of Quitman, Mrs. Minnie McVicker of Marion and Mrs. Welthy Maxwell of Long Beach, Calif. and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
