Brown died at his home in North Jonesboro after an illness of long duration. He suffered a stroke of paralysis some time ago, and has never been well since---getting better seemingly but relapsing into semi- unconsciousness for days at a time. In the death of Rev. Brown Jonesboro loses yet another esteemed resident, who has been associated with many worthy movements in the town, especially as pastor of various Methodist churches throughout this section. The many friends of the deceased paid a tribute of worthy respect on Tuesday afternoon last when funeral services were very beautifully and impressively conducted by Rev. J.C. Price, Pastor of the Methodist Church. To the sorrowing relatives and friends who mourn his loss, we extend our sympathy.
