Mrs. Lillie Brooks
Jonesboro,
Services for Mrs. Lillie Brooks, 97, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in
Edmonds Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Herb Dickerson officiating.
Burial  will be in Jonesboro Cemetery. Mrs. Brooks died  Thursday in
Natchitoches Parish Hospital in Natchitoches after a long illness.
Survivors include four grandaughters, Mrs. Glynn Hughes of Quincy,
Mass.,  Mrs. Betty Jordan of Dodson, Mrs. Jerry Beaver of  Houston,
Texas, and Mrs. Gloria Butler of Natchitoches; 14 great-
grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lillie Paul
Brooks was born to the union of George Edward and Mahalia Roweena
Young Paul.
