Troy Buchan 
(August 22, 1928 - June 27, 2006) 

 Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro 
Mr. Troy Buchan, age 77 of Quitman, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Glenwood 
Regional Medical Center in West Monroe following a lengthy illness. 

Mr. Buchan was a retired clerk and a veteran of the U.S. Army. 

Friends may call on the family at Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro 
Wednesday, June 28, 2006 from 5:30 PM until 10:00 PM and Thursday, June 29, 
2006 from 9:00 AM until time of services. Funeral services will be held 
Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Geroge 
Ridge and Tommy McMurry officiating. Interment will be at Gayla Traina 
Memorial Cemetery near Jonesboro. 

Mr. Buchan was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie P. Buchan; 4 brothers. 
Survivors include: two (2) sons, Jerry Buchan of West Monroe and Steve Buchan 
and wife Laurie of Quitman; sister, Dessie Mae Rasberry of Jonesboro; 7 
grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a host of neices, 
nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may post messages of condolence
