lingering illness of many months duration. His remains were laid to
rest in the Antioch cemetery Wednesday the services conducted by
Rev. Clampitt. Mr. Carson is survived by his wife and seven
children; his mother Mrs. Annie Alexander; one sister Mrs. Fannie
Crow; one brother, J. A. Carson. Mr. Carson was one of our best
citizens, and the host of friends join the Independent in extending
sympathy to the bereaved family.
