Funeral services were held Saturday March 25, for Mrs. W. Culpepper,
age 72, at the Springhill Baptist Church with Reverend A. E. Brown
of Minden officiating. Interment was in the Springhill cemetery
under the direction of Edmonds' Funeral Home. Mrs. Culpepper, a life
long resident of Jackson parish, died on Wednesday, March 22,
following a lengthy illness. Surviving Mrs. Culpepper is her
husband, W. F. Culpepper, five daughter, Mrs. H. P. McBride, Mrs. W.
F. McBride, Mrs. E. D. McBride, all of Jonesboro, Mrs. O. A. Warren
of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Mrs. R. E. Wright of Homer; four sons,
A. J. of Shreveport, W. S. of Mount Vernon, Illinois, E. H. of
Silver Springs, Maryland and M. T. of Jonesboro. Pallbearers were
grandsons of the deceased.
