They were officiated by the Rev. Wayne Howington and Dr. Doug McGuire. Burial followed at the Jimmie Davis Tabernacle Cemetery. Mrs. Ewing died Sept. 5 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Ewing, often called "Topper", led a life of wife, mother, grandmother, Cub Scout den mother, Sunday school teacher, church worker, hospital volunteer and first grade teacher. She is survived by her husband Lew Ewing; children, Terry and Donna Ewing and Randy and Rosemary Ewing; sister, Mildred W. Reeves, of Shreveport; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons Brandon, Brad and Adam Ewing and Wendell Manning and nephews Steve Reeves and Stewart Harrison. Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
