"PeeWee" LeBrun (April 2, 1942 - October 16, 2005) SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME - JONESBORO Mr. James L. "PeeWee" LeBrun, age 63, of Hodge, died October 16, 2005 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 2PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro with Reverend Tommy Barker officiating. Burial was in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mr. LeBrun was preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Willie Mae LeBrun, a great-grandson: Gaylen Lane LeBrun and a niece, Kristal Michelle LeBrun. He is survived by: his wife of 41 years, Mary Ellen LeBrun; one son: James "Bubba" LeBrun and wife Bridget of Haynesville; two daughters: Cynthia McBride and her husband Randy of Weston and Mary LeBrun and Kevin of Hodge; brothers: Edfred LeBrun and wife Mary of Bastrop; Junior LeBrun and wife Gloria of Farmerville, Joe LeBrun and wife Diane of Franklinton, Rodger LeBrun and wife Shelia of Bastrop, Emmett LeBrun of Truxno, Jackie LeBrun and wife Heidi of Anchorage Alaska, and Dale LeBrun and wife Judy of Marion; sisters, Bea Turner and husband Leroy of Bastrop, Polly Boyte of Bastrop, Rosa Turner and husband James of Bastrop, and Mary Lou McKeithen and husband Glen of Crowville; uncle, Henry Caffery of Bastrop; aunts, Lou McAdams and Martha JAckson of Monroe. Mr. LeBrun is survived by ten grandchildren: James D. "Moose" LeBrun, Michelle, L. McBride, James G. "Peanut" LeBrun, Christopher Adkins, Dustin LeBrun, Gary Adkins, Eric McBride, Meagan Simmons, Amber LeBrun and Jessica Bowers. Pallbearers were: Richard Boyte, Jamie McBride, Warren Hingle, James G. LeBrun, James W. LeBrun and Stacey Brimer. ===== Laverne Johnson (April 7, 1917 - October 24, 2005) SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME - JONESBORO Laverne Johnson, age 88 of Jonesboro died October, 24, 2005 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, October 26, in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Ms. Johnson was a seamstress. She is survived by three sisters; Connie Dedoux of Sulphur, Mary Jo Perritt of Eros, and Helen Dietzel of West Monroe; three brothers: Coyce Johnson of Weston, Dale Johnson and Sherman Johnson both of West Monroe. Visitation will be Wednesday morning, October 26, 2005 from 9:30AM until time of services. =====
