C. Cole Murdic C. Cole, age 67, of Quitman died in a Monroe hospital Thursday following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon in the Chapel of the Spears Funeral Home with Rev. Tillman Brown, Rev. Troy Garrett and Rev. Joe Pace conducting. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Spears Funeral Home of Ruston. Survivors include his widow; one son, Dwight Cole of Bastrop; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Barnard of El Dorado, Arkansas and Mrs. Allen D. Long of Monroe; one brother, Curtis Cole of Simsboro, and five grandchildren also survive. Additional Comments: Murdic C. Cole was married to Annie Naomi Mangum.
